Born in Aleppo, Dr. Seropian holds a Ph.D. in linguistics/cognitive science from UC Berkeley, She has taught Armenian at the college level for several years and has recently written a book entitled: Western Armenian, A Content-Driven Description. She has also done considerable research in AI as applied to language. She has worked in high tech starting at Apple Computer, followed by a consultancy entitled Technology for Humans that has provided services to more than fifty companies.
